Meraki Farmacy is a land and community centered herb farm and care provider, owned and operated by ecologist and educator Lucia Hawkins. Every offering starts at seed, tended by Lu without chemical or mechanical interventions. Whole, organic, revered Plants are collected, processed and formulated into beautiful care items. Using unique and traditional methods, Lu formulates several different topicals, family care essentials, extracts, dried blends and very unique botanical soaps using only Plants grown and foraged at The Farmacy informed by the seasons, and the finest natural, biodegradable ingredients. All homegrown and handcrafted formulas are dispensed in zero waste or easily recycled packaging. Since 2015, Meraki Farmacy has been serving community and building deeper connections through stewardship to community and health care and education. Lu is very honored to serve families, elders, veterans, survivors, and anyone who wants to connect with the traditional and emergent relationships with plants, nature, healthy living, community care and sustainability.
Lucia Hawkins is an ecologist, steward, artist and facilitator working with The Plants to reduce harm, increase capacity, and deepen and expand the interconnecting relationships amongst people, places and plants through interdisciplinary approaches for family and community care. A PA native now tending Land in Chinkclacamoose, Lu offers a number of tools for integrative health and is very honored to serve families, elders, veterans, survivors, and anyone who wants to connect with the traditional and emergent relationships with plants, nature, healthy living, community care and sustainability.
